After graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Dental Science, Dr Sam pursued his interest in research and innovation at Griffith University, acquiring a PhD under scholarship. During this time he lectured at Griffith University Dental School and had his research published in internationally renowned journals. Upon completion of his further studies, he joined the public health sector which led him to work in clinics in Dalby, Tara, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Nanango and Cherbourg. He moved back to Brisbane in 2016 where he began his work in various QLD Health facilities providing dental services to eligible members of the community. In conjunction with this, Dr Sam volunteers to provide dental services to the homeless through planned Queensland events. Dr Sam joined the Alita Dental Family in early 2017 and has been an active member since.
Dr Sam is passionate about educating patients about oral health and preventive dentistry. Along with this he has a great interest in complicated Oral Surgery as well as Clear Aligner services (an alternative solution to braces).
In his spare time Dr Sam is an avid reader of articles on gravitation lensing and is a cricket enthusiast.
